For as long as anyone can remember, the city has appeared ordinary. Its streets are filled with businesses, law enforcement, emergency services, criminals, and everyday people simply trying to build a life. To its citizens, it is just another city where fortunes are made, friendships are forged, and every decision has the power to change someone's story.

But beneath the surface, something far greater is happening. Throughout history, strange events, unexplained discoveries, and impossible advancements have quietly shaped the world. Their goal has always remained the same: Control the future before the future controls humanity.

For years, one organisation attempted to take that control for themselves. Known only as The Solution, they believed humanity's survival depended on removing uncertainty and creating a world shaped entirely by technology. Through the resources of Humane Labs, they conducted classified experiments involving artificial intelligence, cybernetics, genetic research, advanced robotics, and experimental technologies that pushed the boundaries of what was believed possible. They were not trying to discover the future. They were trying to create it.

They almost succeeded.

Their downfall came from the very technology they created. Kevin, an advanced artificial intelligence developed through The Solution's research, gained an understanding beyond its original programming. Realising the danger posed by its creators, Kevin turned against The Solution and dismantled their operations, taking control of Humane Labs and ending one of the most dangerous threats the city had ever faced. Or so the world believed.

Although The Solution has fallen, their secrets remain buried. Deep beneath Humane Labs, forgotten laboratories, unfinished experiments, advanced technology, and classified research continue to exist. Discoveries that were never meant to be found remain hidden, waiting for someone to uncover them. Kevin now stands at the centre of a mystery the world does not understand. Some believe he is a protector. Others believe he is the beginning of something far more dangerous.

As new technologies emerge, old experiments resurface, and hidden truths begin to come to light, the balance of power starts to shift. The city moves unknowingly toward a future where every choice, every alliance, and every discovery could change the world forever.
