💾 HELIX BLACK MARKET USB VERIFICATION

We're introducing regular checks regarding the use of the **Black Market USB**. ## 🔍 USB ACTIVITY CHECKS Starting on the **28th**, Ryuu will begin reviewing gangs that currently have access to a Black Market USB. As part of these checks, **purchase history and overall usage of the USB will be reviewed**. The Black Market USB is intended to be actively used as part of criminal and heist progression. If a gang is found to be holding onto the USB without properly using or taking advantage of it, **the USB may be taken away from that group**. This allows the device to remain in the hands of gangs that are actively engaging with the content it provides. ## ⚖️ CONTEXT WILL BE CONSIDERED These checks will NOT simply be: > "You haven't done enough heists, so you lose the USB." Ryuu will take the circumstances into account when reviewing each gang. For example: 👮 **Police Presence** If heists haven't been possible due to a lack of available PD, this will be taken into consideration. 🎯 **Gang Priorities** If your gang has temporarily been focusing on other activities or progression, that will also be considered. 💾 **USB Usage** Purchase history and how your gang has been utilizing the Black Market USB will be part of the review. The goal isn't to punish gangs for circumstances outside of their control. The goal is to make sure these devices are actually being used rather than sitting around collecting dust. ## 📅 FIRST VERIFICATION: 28TH The first round of checks will **begin on the 28th**. If your gang has a Black Market USB, now would be a good time to make sure you're actually making use of it. And remember: **Owning the USB is one thing. 📱 HELIX DEV UPDATE GANG TABLET SEASONS

We're making some changes to the **Gang Tablet** and introducing a new seasonal progression system. ## 📅 FIRST RESET: 25TH → 26TH The **first Gang Tablet reset will take place from the 25th into the 26th**. Before anything else, we want to make one thing extremely clear: # ⚠️ YOUR GANG UNLOCKS ARE NOT BEING RESET ⚠️ When the new season begins, ONLY the following will be reset: 🔄 **Missions & Mission Levels** 🔄 **Battlepass Progression** Anything your gang has already **unlocked will remain unlocked**. You are NOT starting your gang from scratch. You will NOT need to earn your existing unlocks again. ## 🎫 NEW SEASON PASS With this reset, we're introducing the new **Gang Season Pass**. As you level up throughout the season, you'll be able to earn multiple rewards from the pass. There will be two reward tracks: 🆓 **Basic Tier** Available to everyone. 💎 **Premium Tier** Unlockable for **$1,500,000 in-game cash**. The Premium Tier will give you access to additional rewards as you progress through the season. ## 🔄 SEASONAL RESETS Our current plan is for Gang Tablet seasons to reset approximately **every 30 days**. This schedule may occasionally be delayed or adjusted. 🔫 HELIX DEV UPDATE HEISTS & CRIME

Criminals, it's time to get to work. We've made some major changes to the **Heists & Crime** progression across Helix. This update is focused on rewarding exploration, gathering information, and working your way through the criminal world rather than jumping straight to the top. ## 👤 New Criminal NPC A new criminal contact has arrived in the city. What they offer, what they know, and how useful they are is something you'll have to discover for yourselves. ## 🛠️ Crafting Benches Criminal crafting has expanded across the city. 🔹 **Tier 1 Benches** 🔹 **Tier 2 Benches** These benches are hidden around the city and form part of the new crime progression. There is also a **Tier 3 Bench**. That's all we're saying about that. 👀 No locations. No hints. No spoilers. ## 💰 Heist Loot & Progression Loot across our heists has been updated. There is now a much clearer **progression path**, with what you obtain through earlier criminal activities helping you progress toward bigger opportunities. Pay attention to what you find. Not everything is useless just because its purpose isn't immediately obvious. ## 🕵️ Information Is Valuable This update is designed around **discovery**. Talk to people. Explore. Experiment. Share information... or keep it to yourself. If the entire criminal underworld somehow gets completely stuck, there is always someone higher up the food chain who may know more. You'll know who to speak to. Whether they're willing to help you is another question. ## ⚠️ Final Note Don't expect every system, location, or progression step to be explained in patch notes. 📢 ANTI-CHEAT UPDATE

@everyone The anti-cheat issues we’ve been dealing with should now be **under control**. ✅ We’ve identified and addressed the main problems that were causing legitimate players and staff members to be incorrectly flagged. Things are now running much more smoothly, and everyone should be able to fly into the city and play as normal. 🛡️ **STAFF** Staff can resume normal staff duties, including **spectating, teleporting, noclip and other authorised staff actions**. Please continue to use these tools responsibly and only when required for staff duties. If you receive an unexpected flag while carrying out a legitimate staff action, report it directly to management with what you were doing and a screenshot/clip where possible. We’ll be **closely monitoring things over the next few days** to make sure everything remains stable and to catch any further false flags that may appear. ### 🚔 Officer Hostage Rule - Police officers may not be taken hostage as part of general criminal activity. - However, taking an officer at gunpoint during an active RP scene is permitted when there is a legitimate RP purpose, such as negotiating a hostage exchange. - For example, if a gang member has been captured and their associates wish to negotiate a prisoner/hostage swap, an officer may be held at gunpoint as leverage for the exchange. - The officer must be taken as part of an active, legitimate RP scenario and not simply kidnapped or held hostage without purpose. - Police officers may not be taken hostage inside or directly at a Police Department or Hospital. - The exchange should take place in a suitable RP location away from PD and Hospital premises. - This exception exists to allow meaningful negotiation and hostage-exchange RP while still protecting police availability and ensuring there are enough officers available to respond to other situations in the city. ### 📱 Essential Items Rule * **Do not rob or take a player's phone, Laptop, food, or drinks.** * Phones, food, and drinks are considered **essential items** and should remain with the player during robberies or searches. * You may still rob other legitimate items from a player's inventory, provided the robbery follows all other server rules. * Taking these items simply to inconvenience, hinder, or troll another player is not permitted. * This rule is in place to prevent unnecessary disruption to RP and ensure players can continue to communicate, eat, and drink normally while in the city. @everyone

⚠️ BACKPACK ISSUE ⚠️

Hey @everyone! 👋 We’ve currently got an issue with backpacks that can cause crashes when items are taken directly from inside someone else’s backpack. 🚨 PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ITEMS DIRECTLY FROM A BACKPACK INTO YOUR INVENTORY. If you are robbing/searching someone who has a backpack, you must take the entire backpack out first, and then search/access the contents of the backpack separately. ❌ Do not: Take individual items directly from the backpack → your inventory ✅ Do: Take the whole backpack → then access/search the backpack We’ve already had a few crashes caused by this, so please make sure everyone follows this until the issue is fixed. 📋 Multiple Jobs & Employment Clarification

Players are allowed to have **multiple jobs** within the city. There is **no set limit** on how many jobs you can hold, but your employment must remain **realistic and make sense for your character**. You may own **ONE business only**. Owning a business counts as your primary business ownership and you should not own or operate multiple businesses at the same time. When taking on multiple jobs, consider the time and commitment each role requires. Jobs that can realistically be worked around each other are permitted. **For example:** * ✅ Full-time restaurant employee + part-time event worker — **Allowed** * ✅ Restaurant employee + occasional stripper — **Allowed** * ✅ Mechanic + occasional event/security work — **Allowed** * ❌ Working full-time at two different restaurants that both require you to regularly be present and keep the business running — **Not Allowed** * ❌ Holding multiple jobs purely to collect paychecks without actually working them — **Not Allowed** The purpose of this rule is to prevent unrealistic job stacking while still allowing characters to have varied careers and make a living in the city. **Use common sense:** If the jobs require you to be in two places at the same time or both demand a level of commitment that one person realistically couldn't manage, you should not hold both positions. Staff reserve the right to ask you to drop a job if your employment situation is deemed unrealistic or is being abused. ## Updates & Fixes * Updated the FiveM main page. * Added all heist content — **testing required**. * Implemented a new dispatch system for emergency services. * Fixed the police armoury — it will now remain in place after server restarts/storms. * We have heard reports of a possible issue with the Lumber job. Please test it again and report any problems through the correct ticket system. * Added a new feature when loading into the server — we won’t reveal it yet, so check it out for yourself! * Removed duplicate items from the inventory system. * Fixed clothing issues. * Removed unused map assets and areas that were no longer needed. * Installed new scripts and improvements across the server. * Added a new money wash system. * Added a new trucking job. * Fixed the Black Market system — it now works correctly with money payments. **Owner:** Preacher **Developer:** Josh Thank you to everyone helping test and improve Helix RP. Unfortunately, we hit a small setback during development. The inventory system we were using began conflicting with several of our newer scripts, so rather than applying temporary fixes, we made the decision to rebuild the inventory system from the ground up.
