🔧 Mechanic Update: Roadside Repairs 🔧

From now on, mechanics and everyone else are no longer permitted to carry repair kits on their person to repair vehicles out on the road. If a vehicle requires repairs, mechanics must use the tow truck to safely recover the vehicle and bring it back to their mechanic shop, where the repairs can be carried out properly. This change is being made to encourage more realistic roleplay, create more interactions with mechanic businesses, and ensure repairs are handled through the proper process. 🔧 Scheduled Server Maintenance

**Attention everyone!** The server will be **offline from 18:00 until approximately 18:30** for scheduled maintenance. 🚨 Friendly Reminder – Robbery Rules 🚨

For **store robberies and anything above**, you **must have a hostage**. Once the robbery has started, please **wait at least 5 minutes for PD to arrive** instead of immediately robbing the tills and leaving. Give the police a proper opportunity to attend the scene and create some good roleplay for everyone involved. At the moment, **our Police Department numbers are still low**, so we can't always have officers actively patrolling **Blaine County and the northern areas** while also covering the city. Because of this, we ask that you **please wait the full 5 minutes** to give officers enough time to respond and create the roleplay that these scenes are meant to provide. This **5-minute wait rule will be reviewed as our PD numbers increase**. Once we have enough officers to consistently patrol both the city and the north, we'll look at reducing or removing the wait time, as police should already be in those areas and able to respond much quicker. Please don't treat robberies as quick money runs **give PD the scenes too, guys!** 💙 Thank you for helping make **Helix RP** a better experience for everyone. ❤️ @here

🚨 HELIX RP Server Back Online

@everyone We're pleased to announce that **Helix RP is now back online and available to join.** 🎉 Earlier today we experienced an unexpected issue after one of the script providers we relied on carried out what is known as a **"rug pull."** A **rug pull** is when a developer suddenly removes access to or disables the software they provide without warning. Unfortunately, this affected several systems that our server relied on, which is why players were unable to connect. Rather than applying temporary fixes, I spent the day rebuilding and replacing the affected systems from the ground up. ## ✅ What's Changed? * **The server is now back online.** * **No progress has been lost** – your characters, money, items, vehicles, businesses, and properties have all been preserved. * We've purchased **new premium scripts** and implemented **new replacement systems** to ensure Helix RP is running on a much more stable and reliable foundation. * Some menus or features may look slightly different as a result of these upgrades. ## ⚠️ A Few Things to Note While the server is fully playable again, there are still a handful of smaller things that need finishing over the next day or so, such as improvements to the **multi-character system** and a few other quality-of-life changes. These aren't anything that will stop you from playing, but they will be completed over the coming days as we continue polishing everything. If you come across any bugs or unexpected issues, please open a support ticket so we can resolve them as quickly as possible. I'd like to thank everyone for your patience while I worked non-stop to get everything back online. Protecting your progress and ensuring the server was rebuilt properly was my number one priority. Unfortunately, we hit a small setback during development. The inventory system we were using began conflicting with several of our newer scripts, so rather than applying temporary fixes, we made the decision to rebuild the inventory system from the ground up.
